Welcome to HYIP Seekker's Site. This site is intended to serve two purposes.

It is designed to track my own progress on my experimental HYIP journey.
It is intended to be a resource for other HYIP Seekers. I've done lots of research and have gathered lots of insight, ideas, strategies, etc. I hope to organize and categorize these for my own reference, as well as for guidance to other HYIP Seekers.

Basics

The basics of HYIP investing are simple and repeated often by HYIP gurus. These include:

NEVER invest more than you can afford to lose;
NEVER put all of your 'eggs' into one 'basket';
DON'T get greedy;
ALWAYS diversify;
ALWAYS perform your own Due Diligence;
ALWAYS pull out your initial investment as soon as possible

Before investing in any HYIPs, it's best to have an 'investment plan' in place, and then stick to it. It keeps greed in check, and helps you from making those 'rash' or 'snap' decisions.

In addition, it is highly recommended to always remember:

That all HYIP's eventually die - you can take this one to the bank, so plan for it.
Keep in mind that past performance is never a guarantee of future returns.
To treat HYIP investing as a game; most consider it gambling.
You'll never 'win' 100% of the time - plan for, and try to minimize, the losses.
The old adage that "If it seem too good to be true, it probably is".

HYIP Strategies

While all HYIP's are, by definition, 'high risk', there are basically two types of HYIP investors.

Those who play it 'safe' by staying away from those fly-by-night HYIPs which offer outrageously ridiculous returns; and
Those who 'gamble' with both 'safe' HYIP's as well as the 'high risk' HYIPs.

Some have suggested the following as a basic HYIP investing strategy:

Keep at least 25% of your investment capital in 'reserve'. This is to protect at least part of your working capital in the event all of your investments die at one time. Hey, it happens. You don't want all of your money to go down the drain, now do you?
Keep the majority of your portfolio in the 'safer' HYIPs. [Remember to diversify]. These typically don't generate the 'best' or 'fastest' returns, but they seem to last longer than those that promise huge returns.
If you're one of the 'gambling' types, or if you are trying to generate some initial capital, you put a small portion of your portfolio into the riskier, more volatile HYIPs.

LESSONS LEARNED

If you play a ponzi/hyip, and the admin promises to pay you a certain amount of money in return for posting positive feedback on the rating sites, pull out of the program as soon as possible. This is a sure sign the ponzi is in trouble and will soon die. He needs you to post positive feedback in order to draw in more investors because he can no longer continue to pay out his current investors. Plus he wants to to maximize the amount of money he can run off with before his scheme dies.
If you're in a ponzi/hyip and the admin starts sending spam to post positive feedback on the rating sites, or starts changing programs, or adding new programs, it's a pretty good sign they're going to disappear in the very near future.
When a ponzi/hyip admin says he's going to pay you an X amount for each positive feedback you post on rating sites, DO NOT challenge them when they don't pay you what they promised until you can get out of the program. They'll just deactivate your account and you won't be able to make any additional withdrawals.
NEVER invest in a ponzi/hyip that you find about by receiving spamming.
Don't take a Ponzi/HYIP admin's word that he has paid you. It's incredibly amazing! Ponzi admins will continue sending you 'paid' confirmation emails forever, hoping you'll put more money into their scheme. Then when you confront them, or challenge them in any way, they deactive your account, meaning you'll not be able to make any more withdrawals. ALWAYS check your egold account to make sure you have, in fact, been paid before you make additional spends.
